SetTheMood Music was founded by Jaime Castor, a Chicago-based music curator and hospitality industry veteran with over a decade of hands-on experience in the restaurant and bar industry. Jaime doesn't just understand music — he understands your business.

As a former senior manager in Chicago's competitive hospitality scene, Jaime was recognized nationally as a top-three finalist in the 2020 Manager of the Year Contest hosted by el Restaurante — the leading publication for Latin restaurant professionals in the United States — making history as the first finalist from Illinois in the contest's history.

Beyond hospitality, Jaime is an accomplished DJ and music curator performing under the alias SECTOR, with over 65,000 organic streams on SoundCloud.

We serve restaurants, bars, coffee shops, spas, salons, barbershops, and boutiques across Illinois and beyond.
